ITS Safety Program

International Tank Service, Inc. is committed to protecting the human, physical, and financial resources of the Company and its customers, and to providing a work environment as free as feasible from recognized hazards. In order to achieve this goal, ITS has implemented a safety program that provides:

  • Education- Safety education is a continuing process, including:
    • Distribution of safety literature
    • On the job safety training
    • Weekly "tool-box" safety meetings
    • Periodic foreman meetings
    • Hazardous materials communications program and training.
    • New employee safety training
    • Annual refresher safety training
  • Personal Protective Equipment- It is Company policy to require the use of appropriate personal protection devices, including hardhats, welding helmets, safety glasses, respirators, body harnesses, etc.
  • Equipment Safety- All cranes, scaffolding, ladders, tools, equipment, etc., are maintained and inspected in order to conform to OSHA requirements and to provide a safe work place.
  • Drug and Alcohol Policy- ITS has implemented a drug and alcohol policy (including testing provisions) conforming to guidelines provided by our customers and by the DOT.
